Who are we?
CK Aerial Surveys (CKAS) has been active in the field of aerial survey and thermography since 2005. CK Aerial Surveys was founded as a sister company to Cornet and Kinsbergen (PTY) LTD which is a leader in Infrastructure Asset Management. CKAS was initially founded to service the needs of Cornet and Kinsbergen in the water sector. CKAS developed a thermal remote Sensing technology for detecting leaks in bulk water pipelines.
In August 2008 CKAS purchased a LiDAR system from Leica in Switzerland to add to the services offered by the airborne survey division. The business focuses on all industries and applied sectors that LiDAR is active in, and new LiDAR markets. We apply LiDAR services to these industries as it pertains to them. Each industry has varying needs and specific applications for the technology.
We plan to offer auxiliary services to these industries based on our current offerings to these industries.
